Mexico seeks to get Guiness Records for most people dancing to "Thriller"

MEXICO (AFP) - The Mexican capital is preparing to bring the August 29 Guinness world record with some 11,000 young people dancing "Thriller", the most famous choreography of Michael Jackson, in competition with other cities such as Barcelona, told AFP Youth of the owner of Mexico City.

"Barcelona and Moscow appeared to be adding to and can become a global competition," said Javier Hidalgo, director of the Youth City Government, which supports the initiative to celebrate the day that the King of Pop met 51 years.

The official emphasized that the call was through "a group of kids (young people) who created a social network of Facebook and were now adding up to 11,000 young people enrolled and committed to participate in the massive dance" Thriller " , which Jackson won fame in 1982.

"The interesting thing also is that participants in the trials are young people between 18 and 22 years who had not born when Thriller was released," said Hidalgo.

Kevin Jonas, the eldest member of the teen heartthrobs the Jonas Brothers, may soon be able to shed his purity ring and set to break millions of young girls' hearts - after announcing his engagement as Wednesday People magazine reported the 21-year-old pop star is now engaged.

The lucky girl is Danielle Deleasa, a 22-year-old former hairdresser who Jonas met two years ago in the Bahamas, quickly said yes to his proposal, but the two have not set a wedding date yet.

He popped the question after taking an overnight flight from a concert in Vancouver, and showing up at her doorstep in New Jersey, on his knee with ring in hand.

Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker welcome their twin daughters from surrogate mother. And yes we have their names. Sarah and Matthew lovingly welcome Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge Broderick.

The baby girls were born on June 22nd in Ohio at 3:58 p.m. Marion weighed 5lbs 11oz and Tabitha rounded out at 6lbs even. Congrats to the proud parents and welcome to the world baby Broderick girls!

Under the banner of ”Jalisco en Vivo 2009,” Puerto Vallarta will host a free musical extravaganza on June 20 on the Malecón. The main stage will be at the Caballito (sea horse sculpture) on the Malecon, facing south to Los Arcos Amphitheater. There will be very large screens and sound systems placed all along the Malecon.

With performers like Enrique Iglesias, Paulina Rubio, Joan Sebastian, Gloria Estephan and many more. Over 65,000 people are expected to view this concert. Large video screens will be set up along the Malecon and adjacent streets will be closed to traffic.

This is a concert free of charge. A second concert is scheduled in Guadalajara on June 27.

Adam Lambert said he is happy about coming out in Rolling Stones magazine (like we didn’t know it already). Adam said he didn’t disclose his sexual orientation to American Idol because he didn’t want his goal of coming to sing be overshadowed by his lifestyle. Adam even admits that he had a crush on winner Kris Allen during the duration of the show. Lambert says of the title of his story “I do feel liberated. I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders."

The rumor mill has proven true. Kristin Cavallari will replace Lauren Conrad on “The Hills” MTVs hit series that has skyrocketed newly married Heidi and Spencer to fame. Kristin will make her first appearance on May 31st episode were she is seen catching the bouquet at Spence and Heidi’s wedding.
So far the cast has good things to say about Cavallari. Spencer actually thinks she will bring some “spice” that Lauren lacked. Heidi attributes her whole meeting Spencer to Kristin. Audrina too feels that Kristin will give the show some added adventure but will miss “shooting with Lauren”. That all sounds lovely, wait until the claws are drawn and Kristin is on the verge of taking Spencer to Mexico for an annulment and elopement all in one. Don’t meant to give the show away let’s all welcome Kristin with a meooooow!!

Bringing Wolverine Back

After canceling the premiere of Wolverine in Mexico City due the spread of the Swine Flu, the screening is now back on for viewing. With the scare of the virus decreasing the movie will premiere in Mexico City on May 26th.

The wolf man himself cosigned on the premiere thru his Twitter account. Swine Flu is no match for Mr. Wolverine.
